FEDERAL LAW PROHIBITS ANYONE BUT REGISTERED USERS WITH HEARING LOSS FROM USING INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) CAPTIONED TELEPHONES WITH THE CAPTIONS TURNED ON. IP Captioned Telephone Service may use a live operator. The operator generates captions of what the other party to the call says. These captions are then sent to your phone. There is a cost for each minute of captions generated, paid from a federally administered fund.

Since 2018, a “Bone Builders” group has been holding hour-long group exercise sessions twice a week at First Congregational Church, in the vestry.
FCC's volunteer leader, Deanna Knight, has been trained through the RSVP organization. Participants learn and practice low-impact exercises that support and develop breathing, balance, finger and arm strength. With a doctor’s permission, a participant can use small weights. Some stretching exercises are done while seated.
Beyond the physical, there is a strong sense of community among the group members. There’s good conversation and fellowship to be found! Anyone 55 and older can become part of a local group.
Interested in joining the FCC Group on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10-11am?
Deanna Knight leads this wonderful group! You can call her at 802-375-2668 for more information.
